Dave Zenner brings his life-long love of the music of The Beatles to BritBeat. As a youngster, the Skokie, Illinois, native remembers discovering a treasure trove of Beatles recordings in their original rainbow-labeled Capitol record form and has been a student of their music ever since.
Zenner has been involved in the Chicago area Beatle-scene since 2003 when he lived out a dream by playing at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. He's also played in the band Rockshow, a tribute to the music of Paul McCartney and Wings, and plays keyboards in the Chicago-based John Lennon tribute Strawberry Fields.Dave's keyboard really sets the style when he is performing in the 'later years' sets with songs such as Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane and A Day In The Life and brings the magic of the later Abbey Road recording sessions to life. |  |
